This series centers around a high school student named Light who discovers a supernatural notebook that allows him to kill anyone by writing the victim's name and picturing his or her face. The plot follows his attempt to create and lead a world cleansed of evil using the book, and the complex conflict between himself and those assailing him that results.

Many years ago, in the hidden village of Konoha, lived a great demon fox. When it swung one of it's nine tails, a tsunami occurred. The fourth hokage sealed this demon fox inside a boy in exchange for his own life. Naruto was that boy, and he grew up with no family, and the villagers hated him thinking that he himself was the demon fox. Naruto's dream is to become Hokage, and have the villagers acknowledge him.
Bleach
A shounen anime based on manga by Kubo Tite. Kurosaki Ichigo, a 15 year old student can see ghosts. One day, he meets Rukia, a Soul Reaper who's job is to destroy evil spirits called Hollows. Rukia encounters a strong Hollow and gets injured; she transfers her powers to Ichigo as that's her only chance to survive. He now must do the job of the death god, and protect Rukia from Soul Society's laws.
Code Geass
Japan is named Area 11 and ruled by the almighty Britannia. Lelouch, son of Britannia's Emperor, gains the power of Geass and organizes a rebellion. One of the best anime of 2008!
FullMetal Alchemist
Two brothers, Edward and Alphonse, broke the taboo of human transmutation trying to revive their dead mother and paid harshly. Now they travel the world in search of Philosopher's stone, in order to regain what they lost.
One Piece
A boy named Luffy is a captain of a pirate ship looking for the legendary treasure, One Piece. When Luffy was a kid, he ate devil's fruit, which turned him into a rubber man.
Vampire Knight
Yuki Cross, the adopted daughter of the headmaster of Cross Academy, has grown up and become a prefect of the school whose job it is to protect the Day class students (humans) from the Night class students (vampires), and to protect the true identity of the Night class students from being discovered.
Inuyasha
This story is about a time-traveling middle school student, a half-demon, a lecherous monk, a fox demon, a demon slayer, and a nekomata who seek to find all the fragments of the Jewel of Four Souls and to keep them out of the hands of evil doers.
Dragon Ball Z
Many years have passed since Goku first searched for the Dragon Balls. He is a grown man, with a wife and son. He and his friends have settled into their own lives and, for the most part, things are rather peaceful. Then one day, Goku learns he is really a Saiyan and comes from another planet. Now begins new adventures for Goku and his friends as they defend their home against new, more powerful.
Naruto Shippuuden
A sequel to the extremely popular anime series, Naruto, that continues after a 2 and a half year timeskip. Naruto returns to the Konoha village after training under Jiraiya to become stronger. He still hasn't given up on Sasuke, who now joined forces with Akatsuki to achieve his own goals. Shippuuden is based on the same manga as the first part of Naruto anime.
